What Happens Next?

After checkout, we'll email you a prepaid postage label to print at your local post office.

1. Preparation

Reuse Packaging: If you have a Fujifilm QuickSnap (disposable camera), the original box is great for protection. If not, a small padded mailer or even a sturdy envelope will work.

Secure the Roll: Make sure the film is fully wound into the canister (for 35mm).

2. At the Post Office (The Easiest Way)

Show the QR Code: Have the email with the QR code ready on your phone.

The Staff Does the Rest: Australia Post staff will scan that code, print the label, and stick it on for you.

Receipt: Keep your receipt! This contains your tracking number. If the film gets lost in the mail, this is your only proof of postage.

3. If Printing at Home

No Tape Over Barcodes: If you tape the label on yourself, do not put clear sticky tape over the barcode. The reflection from the tape can make it difficult for the Australia Post machines to scan.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of film can you process?

We can process your 35mm C41 film or Black & White film that is C41 compatible.

Can you develop disposable cameras?

Yes, we can develop your disposable cameras. Either your QuickSnap camera or any other single use camera using C41 film.

Why did my film come out blank?

Unfortunately, sometimes your images may come back with blank shots. There are several reasons why this might occur.

  • Exposure to light
  • Film not loaded correctly
  • Expired roll of film
  • No light (under-exposure) or too much light (over-exposure)

Why did my photo come back partially blank?

Unfortunately, ff you find that either your first or last photo on your reel of film comes back partially blank, usually this is due to unwanted light exposure.

  • For QuickSnap cameras, after your last shot ensure you keep winding the film roll all the way until the "Exposures left" indicator window is "0".
  • For 35mm film, ensure you wind back the film all the way into the cannister. You'll usually feel the winding tension "release" once this is completed.

What film processor and chemistry do you use?

We use Noritsu V 50 machines together with Fujifilm RA chemistry for consistent and high quality results.

What resolution are your scans?

We scan at 4 Base JPG resolution for our film development.

Where can I develop my film?

Our online film processing service, allows you to make the most of the Australia Post network. Order online, send us your film, and we'll take care of your photos.

Alternatively, if you are based in metro locations you can visit an independent photo lab in person.
